Birch phenolic plywood board (FW bodies)

Product is designed for use on floors in the transportation sector, such as trailers or vehicles for transporting horses; and in construction applications, such as warehouse floors, loading platforms and scaffolding. It is the perfect solution for floor panels where slip resistance and decorative design are essential.

Base panel

Made only with birch plywood with birch veneers (resistant).

Gluing

Weather resistant phenolic resin gluing according to EN 314-2/ class 3.

Surface

• Front face: Phenolic resin film
• Back face: Smooth phenolic layer acting as moisture barrier.
• Edge protection: Acrylic paint.

Machining

Machining and non-standard formats available on request.

Panel surface properties

Resistance to use and wear (Taber DIN 53799) average of 570 cycles. Laminating test (SS 923502) of 1750 cycles. Film thickness on bodywork at 120 g/m2: 320 cycles, 220 g/m2: 570 cycles. Improved water resistance through coating. Chemical resistance: resists mild alkalis. Exposure to direct sunlight can accelerate the aging process of the product and cause surface color alterations.
