Plywood board with melamine film (HEXA bodies)

Birch plywood with stucco is highly used in demanding sectors such as vehicles, shipbuilding, construction, and furniture due to its incredible properties. It is designed for vehicle sides, such as horse trailers and van linings, but also for store interiors, etc. It is an ideal decorative material for the various needs of the transportation and construction sector, as well as for the production of furniture, playgrounds, and other things.

Product

Special birch is manufactured with cross-laminated birch veneers and the grain direction of the faces is transversal.

Gluing

Weather-resistant gluing according to standard EN 314-2/class 3 for exteriors. Special birch meets the requirements of standard EN 13986 E1 on low formaldehyde emissions. Upon request, deliveries can be made in accordance with TSCA Title IV.

Surface

• Front and back face: Smooth phenolic or melamine layer that acts as a moisture barrier.
• Edge protection: Acrylic paint.

Machining and non-standard formats available upon request.

• 1220/1250 x 2440/2500 mm
• 1500/1525 x 2500/3000/3050 mm
• Dimensional tolerances (length/width): ± 1 mm/1000 mm
• Rectangularity: ± 1 mm/1000 mm

Thicknesses and weights

*Dimensions and thicknesses have been measured with a moisture content of 8-12%.

The thickness and tolerances meet the requirements of EN 315 (Plywood: Dimensional tolerances) and are partly stricter. Custom thicknesses and strength properties are available upon request.

Storage instructions

Panels should be stored horizontally on a flat surface in a dry, covered area.

Installation instructions

Panels may undergo dimensional changes due to changes in air humidity. When installing panels, leave expansion gaps of 1-2 mm between panels.
